Another book with a sizeable range of characters, this one DOES make use of a full audio cast and to great effect! We hear from four young women living in Seoul in the same building, but living very different lives. The first half of this book is incredibly strong, and while it maybe does lose a bit of steam towards the end, I still thought it was engrossing and thought-provoking, particularly around the main theme of unattainable beauty standards forced on Korean women. I was slightly confused by the choice not to include one perspective - there are essentially five main characters, but one of them we only hear from from the POV of the others! But I’d still heartily recommend this book especially if you’re interested in female friendships.
