Before Your Memory Fades by Toshikazu Kawaguchi
3.0

I felt like the series' message was really driven home in this third book, the main takeaway from this book is to not kill yourself and that life is meant to be lived happily. (How many more (potentially) suicidal people are going to go back in time and then come back with a completely different outlook on life??)

I didn't appreciate this book I think the way it deserves. I didn't like that we changed café locations, the map in the beginning of the book that outlines everyone's relationships to each other either, or the whole new cast of characters. It felt too different from the vibe of the first two books.

This felt like an American Style money grab where we'll ride the wheels of a sequel until they fall off. Not every story needs to continue. Sometimes they can wrap up really nicely and end there.
