This was a tough read for me. I didn’t realize going in how much would be about genocide, and I had to take some breaks. But I knew this was an important read, and I wanted to read these stories of hardship and acknowledge these horrific killings happened, and are still happening in Syria. We need to face this issue of genocide so we can stop it from happening.
