DNF at 68%.

Sorry, I couldn’t continue with this book. I loved Nix but Elle annoyed the absolute snot out of me.
She is hypocritical, annoying, and an outright bitch. She never appreciated what Nix was trying to do, or even gave an ounce of sympathy even when she knew what he was trying to do.
I think this could’ve been negated by a better explanation of her circumstances at the beginning of the book, to garner some sort of sympathy for her the way it was garnered for Nix.
But it wasn’t and her constant martyr complex grated. Sorry, but I couldn’t get past that.
