competencefantasy 's review for:
Protect the Prince
by Jennifer Estep
This is a solid second entry and fixes some of the pacing problems with the earlier installment. It's fast paced with memorial characters and dramatic situations. It often feels like a YA novel, which is odd considering the massive amounts of violence and the sex scene. There's some strange anachronism and I don't feel like worldbuilding is a focus. Still I immediately put a hold on the next one so it must be what I need right now.
