Okay, I really really liked this book! I'd seen others reading if on IG but never paid enough attention to it's description until a friend recommended I read it. Catalina (Lina) moved to the US years ago and now has to go back to Spain for her sister's wedding. The problem? She told her family she'd be bringing her boyfriend so that they wouldn't think she was sad and pathetic since her ex-boyfriend is the groom's brother and best man and she is very single. The bane of her existence, Aaron, overhears her talking about her conundrum at work and offers to be her date for the wedding. She knows it is a terrible idea because they don't get along but somehow ends up agreeing to help him in exchange by being his date for a function. As they spend more time together, Lina actually gets to know Aaron and develops feelings and attraction for him. Meanwhile, he turns out to be a very convincing fake boyfriend. The pining, the attraction, the banter, the spice, the one bed and fake dating tropes! All amazing. The only thing that would have made this better would have been dual POV so we could have gotten Aaron's side of things, but I understand why the author didn't do that. Bonus: there will be a second book coming out this fall about Lina's coworker and best friend Rosie!
