Flipped

I liked this book. I really felt like I connected with the characters on both sides and found parts of myself in each of them. Liking a boy in grade school so much that you can’t think of anything else?? Realizing someone isn’t at all who you thought they were? Being so lovesick you can’t eat, sleep, do anything but think of that person. I think if I were reading this in middle school or high school, I would’ve been obsessed. As an adult reading this for the first time, I couldn’t help but be a little off put by the use of the r-word and the fat shaming in this book. It’s hard to look past it and it kind of left a sour taste. This is not a reason to not like the book but the END?! I had 10% left on my kindle and it was OVER?! I was like wait whaaaat, that’s it?! I’m a huge epilogue type of girl and was disappointed that things weren’t wrapped up in a nice pretty box. Overall this was really cute and I loved seeing both POVs of the same story
