Freedom to Rarity: She Will Be King

It was honestly painful to get through this book. The amount of grammar mistakes was appaling, especially because it was the kind that not elementary school kids make. I'm sorry, but their/they're? In many places, the sentences were cut into two bits and therefore lost their meaning.
This book needs an editor, and a bunch of proof readers.
The characters had no personalities, many of them were introduced just to leave the story on the next page. They acted weirdly, not thinking at all, and for some reason the MC's solution to everything was violence.
Another problem is with the setting. The author chose 16th century Italy, but at the same time, she mentions abstract paintings and ninjas. And I know this is a fantasy, but it's still set in a real period and seeing these things really isn't helping me get immersed in the story.
I won't rate this book because there's nothing really problematic about it, it just feels like a teenager's first attempt taken straight from Wattpad.
