the more "enemies to lovers" that i read with a secret "he's always loved her" , the more okay i am with it.
the references to modern movies and songs were not my favorite or enjoyable at all, but i pushed through and i'm glad that i did.
overall, very cute and just the right amount of angst. i really find it easy for me to forgive teenage angst compared to those found in adult romances. so i shall continue reading YA romances instead. also, the audiobook narrators for YA just do it better.
