Quick thoughts:
- Despite its title and initial book cover, this is definitely NOT a love triangle.
- This is a New Adult romance done right!!!
- Explores college life realistically (e.g. the pressure to find the right major, finding yourself).
- The most adorable bromance between Crosbie and Kellan.
- Acknowledges the unfair gender-based double standards of being sexually active.
- Points out the risks of having a number of sex partners (without resorting to shaming), the importance of protection, and the necessity of consent.
- Really well-developed characters and character relationships I couldn't help but emotionally invest in.
- No unnecessary angst or drama; just a bunch of college kids trying to figure themselves out.
- The romance between Crosbie and Nora is so endearing, realistic, and swoon-worthy. I love their easygoing banter.
- The sex scenes didn't overpower the plot, but damn, the heat levels were off the charts (+ some of the most realistically written sex scenes I've ever encountered).
- I've read this twice so that ought to show how much I loved it.
