Slow to start as all the storylines are established. But then it gets going. The idea "always leave them wanting more" is one the author really took to heart in this book - every time I'd start getting invested in a story line, it would switch to the next, and then it would happen again. My only complaint is I wish there'd been a bit more resolution of the stories at the end, but that would have gone against the "always leave them wanting more" rule so diligently followed.
