I only give 5 stars if a book elicits a strong emotional response from me while reading. This book came so very close to that. Before I even made it 10 pages I was giddy.

I love everything about this love story. It could be the added fandom, or the fact that Carlos was probably the BEST lover out of all the men in the series. I mean it was HOT!!!

Mika was cute, sassy, forward, and dangerous. Her backstory was very True Crime Network.

The overall storyline was solid. I am sad to see that there is NOT another book after this. I mean HELLO Avery, you introduced TWO more members of the security team. One of which has a backstory that screams to be transformed. *sigh*

Also this book connects Carlos to Gabe in the Betting the Billionaire novella which was also very good.
