This book is all kinds of fucked up. I have no idea how to rate this. Can you believe I stayed up until 2 AM to finish this? 🫣 this review was written immediately after, so bear with me.

It was such a quick read, CoHo’s writing style just makes me fly through her books. I was really feeling the chemistry between the two main characters but at the same time didn’t really have an emotional connection to them? For the entire 2nd half of the book I was waiting for this crazy plottwist that was apparently coming. When I’d almost gotten to the end I was convinced it wasn’t coming, or that I’d already read it and it just wasn’t surprising to me. I was wrong, there definitely was a plottwist. And I definitely was surprised, it just didn’t make me like the book any better? So it was definitely an engaging read but I also didn’t really like the book? I feel like I enjoyed it but at the same time I didn’t? How to rate this? 😵‍💫

(for now, we’ll see how I feel about it in the morning 😂)
