Another great addition to the series. I would highly recommend reading these in order so that you understand Madison and Nate's past as well as their current friendship. This is Madison's first day back at work after putting her life back together and she's thrown in at the deep end with an abandoned baby and missing mother. Not only does she have to learn to trust her team but she has to prove that she is worthy of having her job back. The twists and turns of this investigation had me hooked. Nate also has another heartbreaking experience in his quest to find the person responsible for his Fiances murder which adds to the suspense of the book. The characters and the gritty investigations sucked me in and I didn't want to put it down. I hope we get to see more of this duo.
