The story is a nice poem from a mother to a son. It rhymes decently well and has a nice cadence. It would be a lovely read for any age. The best illustration is on the cover, and it seems so different from the rest of the illustrations inside. The illustrations aren’t bad, but are an older style of art or less practiced style of art. Overall, the book was nice and fun, but it’s not one that’ll sit on a bookshelf at a library for 20 years.
