I liked the narrative voice and calls for action. I enjoyed learning about the authors personal experience weaving together multiple parts of their heritage and personhood into one idea and narrative. I do feel like it side steps a little that their are solidly queer communities, safe spaces, and supportive groups for queer people... it was clearly in an effort to strengthen the call to action but felt a little dismissive of the work others have already put in. But a worthwhile read that I felt worth the brief read.
