Mini Audiobook Review: Thank you so much to PRH Audio for the complimentary audio!

While reading romances, I can tell right away which lane of romances one falls into - is this going to be realistic or is it going to be a little campy and fun. And this one is the latter.

I love that our couple were friends back in high school and that they weren't total strangers. They knew how to push each others button which also led to the tension between them.

My biggest ick with this book that happens every once in awhile is the immature antics of the FMC and in this case the MMC too. I am sure there are people within a HOA community or any sort of community where you things are done out of spite & sabbatoges happen. It just is hard to watch grown adults act like that. Collins acknowledges that it is immature at least.

I did love the moment it clicked between Collins and Nate. I was fist pumping in the air because it was not expecting and just sort of happened. Once they put down their guard, the relationship between them was really sweet and of course so hot.

By the 2nd half of the book, I ended up enjoying it a lot more! I was happy for Collins for finding herself in the process of being home and standing up to her ex.

This as such a quick listen and I probably would have finished it in a day. Jade Wheeler made the listening experience very pleasant and I just enjoyed it greatly! I have listen to a few books with her narration and they were all so good.

This was not my fave from Alexa but I still ended up enjoying it!

If you are a fan of former friends, enemies to lover set in a neighborhood community - this one is for you!
