I won this book in a giveaway contest. I didn't realize it was two stories in one. That being said, both stories were very short- which did not leave any room for character or plot development or backstory. I found the writing a little cheesy, unrealistic, or unnatural. Also the whole "single good-looking lawman rescues/protects single good-looking woman with child and they fall in love" storyline cliche and uninteresting. I guess that's why I don't read much romance. I gave it a one star for the quality of writing and the uninteresting plots. At least it was a short read.
