Under the Stars
by Laura Pavlov
Georgia just graduated from college and applied for a job at a new publishing house as the assistant of a grumpy billionaire. She is a ray of sunshine and everyone loves her. Maddox is grumpy and all he cares about is work. He has gone through many assistants, but there’s something about Georgia that he can’t resist, so he hires her. He’s attracted to her but refuses to cross that line with his employee. He fights it, but she breaks his walls and shows him that there’s more to life. You have no idea how much I loved Bossman and Tink! Georgia is a smart, determined, and confident woman. She doesn’t take shit from anyone. She’s just so much fun and she spreads happiness everywhere she goes. She is a beautiful person in and out. I love how close she is with her family. Maddox is the opposite of her, and his relationship with his family isn’t the best and is dealing with childhood trauma that comes from his mother’s death. With Georgia by his side, he faced his past and proved he is worthy of love. The chemistry and sexual tension between these two was off the charts. They couldn’t stay away from each other. I loved how Maddox slowly fell in love with her and she just made his life so much easier. Their banter was so much fun to read. These two are just perfect!
