The Last Lecture
by Randy Pausch
I think as personal lessons many of the things that Randy had to say are meaningful. It sounds like he truly lived an amazing life, one that he worked hard for, and at multiple points he made me cry despite his generally positive tone. I wish he had gotten many more years.
I wouldn't say there was anything groundbreaking here, but the stories felt full of important little truths - loving your family, looking on the bright side, persistence. Its a book well worth the read, and the words and stories flow incredibly well.
I guess his kids are nearly grown up now, if I'm right Dylan should be 18. I wish them all the best. The clearest thing in this book is his love for them.
