This isn't my favorite book in the series so far, but still very likeable. Cress reminds very much of Anne Shirley from Anne of Green Gables, wild imagination and all. Non lethal spoiler: She has a huge crush on Thorne even before meeting him. I really do like Thorne, and probably more in this book since we get to know him better and he grows as a person. He may act like an idiot half of the time, but he really is good at heart. It's amazing how Meyer is able to make time for all of these characters and weave them together into a single storyline. Many other YA novels would have done one book per character arc and not interwoven the characters throughout the series, so I appreciate this a lot. This book starts revealing many more interesting things that we didn't know before about some character's relationships to each other. There is also an excellent set up for the next book which I am very much looking forward to. Still a definite thumbs up for these books. 👌👌👌
