This book was SO GOOD. Shea and Morgan are just perfection! I knew right away this book would draw me in, because the premise of a veteran hockey player being traded to a bottom of the barrel team to try help them win and be better while also dealing with an abusive current captain sounded great. I thought it was unique and different and I knew immediately the connection between Shea and Morgan was something fierce and beautiful. The slow burn was really great, because we got to see Shea and Morgan really develop as teammates, as friends, and then eventually fall in love. There are some heavy themes in this book and I was surprised at just how emotional I got reading this. There were several moments where I felt tears prickle, because some scenes were really moving and affected me. This was so well written and I enjoyed it so much.
