This was really good! I'm new to this author, but book one - which is basically a novella that sets up this book - intrigued me and I wanted to know exactly what happens between Asher and Grace. Asher is now released from prison and Grace is still waiting for him after seven years but he's definitely not the same person he was. I love the journey he went on to realize he wasn't a bad person, he made mistakes, but that he could still love a good life, start over and that he was worthy of love. I took a star off because Grace started to annoy me. She was persistent with Asher but tended to be very insensitive to what he went through and just saw her own needs and wants of just trying to get him back. But, she got better towards the last half of the book. I love Gram and all of the side characters and I'm just so excited for the next book!
