I haven't read Spirou comic in years and reading this one I understand was. It just isn't for me. I do recognize its qualities and understand the fans that this series have for years now. The illustrations are classic but beautiful, the stories is more or less what every Spirou bring to the table, and... that's it. It's a bit like the Tintin, we don't reinvent the wheel in any issues but we put to work a well know and use recipes. I think the Spirou fan will like that one (personnal appreciation 2/5, potential 4/5, it'll have to go with 3/5).
