This was a good read, especially towards the end. It's not as good as The Silent Patient, even though it shares some of the improbable scenarios, the story just didn't capture me like his previous book. And yet, Alex found a way to give me a twist at the end that completely shocked me and broke my heart a little. Can't wait to read what Alex comes up with next.
