I so wanted to like this book, but after 2 months of picking it up and putting it back down I finished and have to say, it was terrible! These stories are disjointed and depressing. I was hopeful that this book would explore female sexuality and voice. Instead I got 3 poorly written stories of women that are mundane at best. The only story I believe is worth telling in this book is Maggie's. I would have read a whole book (better written) on her story.
