First of all, a lot of this book is spoiled in the summary because some of the events don't happen until the second half of the book and ugh. I hate it when that happens. Otherwise, I think the first two books are the strongest in this series.

This book kind of got away from what made the first two books so successful. For me, it was too focused on the relationship between Audrey Rose and Thomas. It took away from the mystery at heart of the book, even though we do come full circle from the first book. I just wanted more of the mystery and less of the relationship moping. It seemed out of character for Audrey Rose, who boasted being such an independent person.

These books shine in their suspense and mystery, which was somewhat lacking in this book. A somewhat disappointing ending for a series that had such potential.
