Hairpin Bridge
by Taylor Adams
An action packed tale of one sister’s search for the truth behind her twin’s death.
This book has gotten a lot of mixed reviews. I was hesitant to read it but I’m glad I listened to it because the audio was fantastic! I was riveted by the story which was pretty action packed. The plot line gets pretty far fetched but like with any fun action movie - you just have to go with all the shoot outs, things getting blown up and the unassuming MC getting the best of the bad guys. That’s the fun of it! Where else can a regular girl armed with a tape recorder whose sole back up in the entire world is her laptop seek justice and come out on top? I mean come on…I ate that ish up. And before you ask - yes, I obviously do love over the top action movies!
So, if you enjoy action, badass heroines and reading a book that will fill you with tension until the end - this one is for you! Loved it! The only complaint I had is that I struggled a bit at times to follow the POVs via the audio. It wasn’t always initially clear whose POV it had jumped to but it also helped fuel my overall sense of questioning everything so I wasn’t too mad at it.
