I swear this little fictional town of Copper Lake does something to me. I love everything about this small little town, the characters, just everything. I love every single one of them and their story. Boone and Grady captivated me from the beginning and I finished in one sitting to see how it all played out with them.
Boone has made appearances in the previous book in the series as the devoted family man on the rodeo circuit but you could always tell there was something happening between him and Jade with the bickering and fighting that was happening. It set up Boone's story perfectly. Jade and Boone finally decide to separate and call their marriage quits after realizing there was no saving it. While Boone is out living his best life as a bull rider, Jade has welcomed her younger brother Grady to stay with them while he figures out what he wants to do with his life.
I loved these two so much, the forbidden aspect of it, the stolen glances, everyone can sense something but them. They both had conflicting feelings and thoughts before they finally gave in. The way that Grady was with Suzy, absolutely adorable. The way that Boone and Grady had the friendship and bond before they crossed the line into something more was perfect and the chemistry between these two π₯΅
I loved the cameos of all the other characters and can't wait for more in this series!!! I never want it to end.
