bookishfoxes 's review for:
Allegiant
by Veronica Roth
I knew she was going to die. I saw a spoiler about it when I started reading the first book. Yet I was still shocked.
She actually died. Tris. The main character. She died.
I can't wrap my head around that. I really hoped that the spoiler was false and that she didn't die, but she did.
I enjoyed this book, not as much as the first two, but I still couldn't put it down. (Well, at some point I took a break from reading because I was sick, and my excitement for this book made my stomach hurt even more.)
I don't really know what to say. Tobias is still my favorite, even though there were moments where I was annoyed by him.
The ending was good. Satisfying. The problems were solved. The only thing missing was a happy ending for Tris and Tobias. I really wanted them to live a happily ever after life together.
The ending did feel a little rushed though. Other parts of the plot did too.
