3.5 stars. This is my first real sci fi and it was a good start. I like Binti and her connection with her people and culture. The way the author incorporated her hair into the plot was great too. I just feel like this wrapped up too easily. And that is probably because this is a novella or short story (I forget which). Definitely want to read the rest of this trilogy and try more scifi similar to this but longer. This wasn't satisfying enough.
