This will be a surprise to probably nobody, but Jill Shalvis has a new book out next week and I freaking loved it! This is the second book in a series but you don’t have to read them in order as really the only thing they have in common is the setting of Lake Tahoe 😍 You have a second chance romance between Tae and Riggs and then Tae’s mom, April is also a huge part of the story as well. April got pregnant with Tae when she was a teenager and their relationship dynamic was so interesting, oftentimes more like sisters or best friends than a traditional mother/daughter. I always enjoy the way the author writes such emotionally deep stories but infuses them with humor and some sexy, witty banter. Another hit for me and an ideal summer read!
