What a wild ride! And that ending - wow! I enjoyed this book so much. As someone who doesn't typically read many thrillers in a year, this book has me wondering why I don't read more of them. It was so good! I was hooked and I couldn't put it down. And more than that, I was always excited to pick it back up!

Inheritances, road trips, and sibling relationships. These are some of my favourite plot and character elements in a novel. That is the main reason why I picked it up. Although I find unreliable narrators frustrating at times, in this book I felt like not knowing what Beth (the character you're in the mind of most) was really up to and what her intentions were was part of the ride of this novel.

The Lovely Wife is now on my TBR, and I look forward to reading more by this author.
