I really enjoyed the previous 2 installments of this series but this one just wasn’t as good. I think I mainly struggled with the fact that the killer is very obvious from the beginning and it’s frustrating that the police can’t seem to work it out. There was also a lot more about the characters' personal lives which took away from the story. I’m also not a fan of the one superhero cop goes off and solves the case on her own trope. That being said this is still a good easy read crime series and I do enjoy the main characters. This one just wasn’t as good as the other two. I would definitely still read any further additions though. I received a copy of the ebook via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review
