holy crap.. this was one of the most frustrating books i have ever read. it was a test for anoor, sylah and jond and their learned beliefs and behaviour. i liked the plot and twists the most on this book, how things paralleled in the different povs, the amount of lore that dropped in this book, how everything fell into place. the main characters were all, with the exception of hassa, very frustrating most of the time, their flaws making them make questionable decisions, and in the end left them at where they're at at the end of the book.
can we talk about the very last line of the book??? hassa speaking out loud??? i thought limbs couldn'  be created???

I'm conflicted between rating this book 4,5 stars bc of how i flew through it and the plot and 4 stars bc i do think a lot of the book was just scenes that meant to either drop lore, progress the plot etc it felt like there weren't any moments to let the content of the book and the emotions in it settle in properly, or these moments were very short, there were also some scenes that seemed too short for the significance they had
anyway, very intrigued to know what's happening in the last book and how frustrated I'm going to be
