Too Bright to See
by Kyle Lukoff
Too Bright to See was a pretty fun ghost story to jump into. Even though it started off on a sad not, I was really excited to see what Bug was going to go through. Well, I mean, her house was haunted but was slightly excited to see if she would reunite with her uncle.
It probably doesn't help that Bug is dealing with outside peer pressure on top of grieving for her uncle's untimely death. So, I definitely felt some emotions because of how easy it was to connect with Bug. Death is hard to deal with. Especially when it happens to someone you are pretty close to. So, yeah, I felt some emotions and just wanted the best possible outcome for Bug.
Besides the emotional roller coaster this book took me on, I really enjoyed the whole thing. The ending could have been a bit happier in my opinion, but I can't complain about anything else. Just happy that I took a chance on this and will have to look into whatever Kyle writes next!
