This may be one of the dirtiest audiobooks I've listened to! May be responsible for the current heat wave in my city.

Anyway, I'm sad to see the "Crossing the Line" series come to a close. I wasn't too sure about Henrik after meeting him in Book 3, but I'm great to like him.

Henrik Vance, disgraced cop for destroying evidence to protect a beautiful girl, a girl he met ONCE. Almost a year later, he knows where she is hiding thanks to a deal he struck with his new teammates.

Ailish O'Kelly, the tiny red-haired and locked away daughter of an evil Chicago mob boss ran away once she was mysteriously released from police custody. Hiding out in Wisconsin, she accidentally shoots Henrik who comes to convince her to use her information to put her father away.

Ailish isn't convinced this is her best option, but she's immediately attracted to the swoony, huge, and obviously totally into her Henrik. He also looks very familiar.

Using her her secret power (and secret shame) as a tease, Ailish bends Henrik to her will. But, he's also the first man who's willing to dole it back out just as good. Plus, he's vowed to keep her safe, no matter what.

What follows is the most scorching sex I've recently listened to with a somewhat plausible suspense plot. We get to see our past favs, and get a neatly would up series.
