I know when I read a BJ Alpha book it’s going to be more spice than plot and I mean that in the best possible way. Shaw and Emi were pretty toxic for each other though. Emi wanted out of the Mafia life, but she still kept throwing the whole “in blood we’re bound” thing in his face. 
I would have preferred him to fall hard for her instead of letting himself get in the way of happiness early on. I loved the Banter between the Storm Enterprises men. The plot twist was good though. The ending was really good too.
