I was not prepared to experience this book the way that I did. I laughed. I cried. I even learned a lesson or two and questioned my own morals. I’ve heard great things, but I did not think it would live up to the hype. It did.
The author has a way of making you fall so deeply in love with the characters as if you’re there experiencing life beside them. I could not put this book down. I was on the edge of my sit wondering just how it would end. While I saw some parts coming, others caught me completely off guard. I recommend this to anyone who have ever felt like they have had to hide part of their identity to make other people feel comfortable or out of fear of the outcome. I see you. You are important. You are loved. This book is for you.
