Wow, this was a ride from start to finish! I really liked some elements of this book, but there were other things I really didn't like. I liked that this was romantic suspense, because that's my favorite genre. Ethan and Tiffany were cute together after that initial amount of time where they struggled to get along. Sometimes, though, I felt like it was forced. Ethan was truly a sweetheart and had major Golden Retriever energy. I feel like some of the plot, both past and present, was just not realistic or believable. Everything just seemed so far fetched. The cover is a little misleading because we get more of Tiffany's post and how that led to the present, than we do the actual present chapters. The spicy scenes between Tiffany and Ethan were really awkward and disjointed. I do like that the author is able to provide either a spicy or clean version for readers. Overall, I think this book had a lot of potential but missed the mark a bit, but I look forward to seeing the author grow and develop.
