I have some mixed feelings about Windwitch. Maybe it is because The Witchlands is more of a character-driven fantasy series than the plot-driven series I am used to? I am excited to the rest of the series but I will have to see.

I lived for the chapters with Iseult and Aeduan! However, the other perspectives just did not do it for me?

Merik kinda misgendering Cam in most of the book also bothered me. I guess in the ending, he figured it out and I guess Cam never actually told him his pronouns?

On the other hand, I flew through this book and I enjoyed it for what it is but I expected more of it.
