This was a fresh and exciting debut. I'm honestly surprised this was Hannah's debut because of how beautiful and imaginative and layered the prose is. The world building was just enough, the characters are spirited and fun, and the concept of all these gods that need to be killed is interesting. The prologue immediately had me hooked and I knew this was a series I would continue. 4.5 stars for me.
