SEAL'ed: The Complete Series
by Andi Jaxon, AJ Alexander
Honor:
I love Logan, Katie and their story. Katie is a widow and Logan was best friends with her deceased husband and he made a promise to look after her.
This story broke my heart but it also put it back together again. I love how real Katie is, she is an extremely relatable character. Logan is a stand up guy, he is a true hero. They had instant kindle melting chemistry.
This was a quick and easy read and you get a nice peak into future characters coming up in the series. A must read!
Love:
Charlie has fallen in love with the twin tornados, Amber and Avery. The book does just jump right into some pretty steamy scenes and there are many to follow, because Charlie, Amber and Avery can’t seem to keep their hands off each other, no matter where they are. Even with all the steamy, passionate and hot scenes the story behind it is beautiful.
Amber and Avery have both experienced a lot of loss and pain in their lives and it has helped shape how they view things now. They found each other and have always been there for one another and will continue to be that way. The struggle the went through with adding in a third person to their fold and to love them fiercely was beautiful. The struggles that someone may truly feel if they were in that situation felt so real. It felt as if you are experiencing every single emotion right there with them. Plus, the little bit of humor with Avery’s silly nicknames for everything had me laughing at times.
I loved that we got more of Katie and Logan throughout Love. The way this story ended, I hope that we continue to get more of Charlie, Amber and Avery, as well as Katie and Logan, in the future books.
Love is a beautiful, passionate, raw, emotional and real story of three people who find their happily ever afters with each other.
Fate:
Jimmy and Emma first saw each other at a BBQ with their friends and family, though they didn’t say a word to each other. When Emma’s brother, Justin aka LT, was deployed he gave Emma Jimmy’s phone number and told her to call him in case she need help with anything. One day Jimmy received a strange phone call from a girl asking for help because her brother told her if she was ever in trouble he would be the one to call. Fate brought them together, but will fate keep them apart?
I love the SEAL’ed series but there is just something about this book that sticks with you. It is so emotional and reading everything that Emma had to experience seriously breaks my heart. In her young life that poor girl has experience so much pain and suffering. Jimmy struggled with his feelings for her and tried to stay away, but oh when he let is go…..let’s just say Jimmy is HOT! Andi Jaxon and AJ Alexander write such beautiful, emotional stories with just the perfect amount of hotness and Fate was no exception.
Of course, we also got more of our favorites from the previous books, Katie and Logan (Honor) and Charlie, Amber, and Avery (Love). I couldn’t put this book down. It had me swooning, fanning myself and crying.
Power:
Power is the fourth book in the Seal’ed series and is Danny aka Newb’s story. This one different addition to the series in a good way.
I have no idea who that woman is, but I damn sure will never forget her shaking the fog from my confused brain.
Danny feels lost. He feels out of place with the group. He is the newest member to the Seal team and isn’t the only one who has paired off with someone else. Danny and the crew are in Vegas for Logan and Katie’s wedding, when in the elevator Danny has an encounter with a woman and that changes everything inside of him.
Layla is a Domme. She is the CEO of her own business. She craves control in her career and in her personal life. After the elevator run in she is captivated by Danny. After almost running over Danny while he is out with his friends, she welcomes him in her car and things begin to bloom from there.
“Did I give you permission to touch me, Baby Boy?” “I want to do a whole lot more than touch you” “What you want is irrelevant.”
I am so excited to finally get Danny’s story. I enjoyed the fact that Layla was the dominant one in their relationship, it truly makes the story stand out in my eyes. The chemistry between Danny and Layla was fantastic. I love how Katie is with Danny, she truly cares for him and wants to include him. When the rest of the group kind of pushes him away, especially once Layla comes into the picture. Another fantastic, steamy addition to the series.
Faith:
I am so happy that LT aka Justin finally got his story!
Justin and the rest of the guys are back in the desert and away from their wives and children. Emma encourages Justin to sign up for a pen pal so he can receive letters while away. Little did he know it would change his life.
Becca is a marine widow, a single mother to her 3-year-old daughter, Olivia, whose father never got the chance to know about her existence before he died. Becca will do anything to protect her daughter and make sure she is happy. When she sends a letter to a soldier who is deployed, she doesn’t expect it to turn into so much more.
I absolutely love Becca and Justin, but it is little Livie who really stole the story. She is so adorable, sweet and instantly connects with everyone. The little girl instantly bonded with the entire group and they all fell in love with her.
I love Becca and Justin’s relationship and their letters/e-mails were sweet and you can see the bond forming between the two. They both felt like outcasts and found comfort, friendship and love with one another.
I was also kind of hoping we could all be friends. I have a good feeling about her. – Emma.
Becca’s friendship with the girls may be my favorite thing, though. She instantly was accepted by Emma, Katie, Avery and Amber.
I can tell this is going to be the start of a beautiful friendship and the need for a lot of bail money.
I love how much Amber and Avery take to Becca and how much Becca connects with them. Those girls are in their own world and I love them. They bring the comedy to this series!
This story was the perfect ending to the series, though I am sad it is over. I absolutely loved every single book and falling in love with every single character. I love that the crew was able to find their own happily ever afters.
I absolutely love every single book in this series and it will be one that I read over and over again.
