This book was something that I saw on a list of free books and was intrigued by, as I've always been a fan of Beauty and the Beast, and so I decided to grab it. When I first started reading it I was fascinated by both of the main characters, their stories and trials, and practically devoured it. I found this take on the story fascinating, and sweet, but at times also flawed as at times the dialogue felt too forced or the romantic pace too quick. It didn't stop me from reading it. However, it kept me from enjoying the story to degree that I would have otherwise.
