Set one year after the skaa rebellion, this book immediately delved into politic and war as Luthadel is put under siege by three different armies. And then it goes on like that for 700 pages. If I read the book instead of listening to the audiobook I think i might have to sue someone for putting me through all that. It wasn’t boring per se, but dear god, it wasn’t easy to read either.
The book started to get exciting as we get to the last stretch and I was hit by a realization... Do i PERHAPS?! LOVE Breeze?!
Yes, yes I might be. At this point I’m thirsting over this man and I’m too afraid to google him in case i get hit by a spoiler. (Please let him live)
Honestly IDK how I feel about this because I really just read 700 pages of fictional politic and i’m mad at myself for enjoying that. If you see me rating this 5 star just smile and move on because i’m still kinda feeling stunned and half-numb.
