This is a book that was purchased for my middle school classroom library. I selected it from the shelf to read during our daily silent reading. Imagine my delight when I discovered that Edgar Allan Poe played a significant role in this book. 

Book Scavenger is a fun, adventure filled book that is what it is. It's not trying to be more than that. I felt like the ending was a little rushed, but overall this is a great read for middle school kids.
