Fascinating hearing about Einstein’s first wife but utterly devastating. It was well written but so very sad watching Maleva’s dreams fall apart after essentially one foolish decision and giving her heart to a man with consistently empty promises. The contrast with Marie Curie’s relationship with her husband, while not necessarily a real conversation, shows how the spouse you choose can make or break you.

Regardless I loved learning about a brilliant woman in history, especially one who very likely deserved so much more recognition than she received.
