This was my first Lucy Score book and I wasn't sure what to expect, if it would be to my liking (we all have different tastes, after all) but I had heard such great things. I was certainly not disappointed! It was so good. I'm so in love with Noah and Cat and their relationship. Also, Sara, my girl! Noah's daughter was just the cutest and I loved everything about her. Single father books just hit. I have a special place in my heart for them. And this was a great enemies to lovers book! Although, that dissipated rather quickly as their attraction was pretty immediate. I also loved Mell and her relationship with Noah, as a divorced couple. It was refreshing to see how much she supported him and wanted him to be happy and helped facilitate his relationship with Cat. And Cat's story was amazing. I really thought she was full of herself and making promises she couldn't keep when it came to the town, the same sentiments that Noah shared, but I was so pleasantly surprised at how she swooped in and saved the town and made Noah realize how much he needed the help and how special she was. And Noah, with his glasses and good looks and filthy mouth! The best kind of book boyfriend, if I do say so myself. All around, it was just such a wonderful book and I can say with absolute certainty that I WILL be reading everything Lucy Score has written and will write.
