“I think people who read novels are fantasists in desperate need of emotional dope to anesthetize them against the reality of their meaningless existence.” “I read novels.” “I know, but we’re working on that.” “No, we’re not. I like novels. I will always read novels. You cannot make me stop reading novels.” “That’s very cute.”

✨ SOUND THE WEDDING BELLS ✨

i had a looot of feelings reading this one. the mystery was pretty good and i LOVED the
dulac red herring
, that was so much fun to read! even if the big
mitchell
reveal felt a little short, like my dude was just... there. lol. i think that compared to the haverford tensions this was a little less, and it feels a bit weird that mikey grames delivered better nightmare fuel than someone
supposedly soo smart, like, was mitchell supposed to be some kind of genius?? that was unclear

anyway, regardless, this was a fun one. i think i might take a hazard and somers break to find my way around the hazardverse so i can follow it linearly, but let's see if i'll really read all of the FIFTY books of the hazardvese (fuck).
