There's a Monkey in My BackPack!
by Don M Winn
This book is about a student named and the monkey on her back Dyslexia. This book is meant for kids to work on their emotional issues around their learning disability, but I love that the book is vague enough it could be used for almost any type of learning or life difficulty. However, what I do not like is the Forward. These really have no place in the front of picture books. This one not only tells us what the book is about, but then goes on to praise the author for all the awards they have won. Guess what?! I don’t care! If this had to be included, it should be at the back of the book, not the beginning.
